Capacity Building for Key Population Communities

Hepatitis B is a significant global health problem. Although Indonesia has a high prevalence of Hepatitis B infection, screening programs mainly focus on pregnant women, while most key populations have not had adequate access to Hepatitis B testing and treatment. Key populations, such as people living with HIV, people with chronic kidney disease, sex workers, MSM (men who have sex with men), transgender people, injecting drug users, and women living with HIV, are not prioritized in national programs. As a result, most key populations are unaware of their health conditions related to Hepatitis B.

In October 2024 we are organizing Capacity Building for Key Population Communities to accelerate Hepatitis B elimination in Indonesia.
