Community-led Monitoring

The involvement of communities in monitoring healthcare services is also known as Community-Led Monitoring (CLM). CLM is a mechanism where the community monitors the implementation of service improvements and empowers the community as service users and community-based organizations to work together with service providers and decision-makers to use CLM data to improve the accessibility, acceptance, availability, affordability, and quality of services.

Active community involvement enables the community to play a role in decision-making regarding matters that can affect their health and lives. Community involvement in monitoring healthcare services is in line with Law No. 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services and Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health.

After the process of creating the CLM Implementation Guidelines, in June 2024, Peduli Hati Bangsa and the Ministry of Health disseminated these guidelines to the Health Offices and service providers related to Hepatitis B and C
