On June 2, 2022, we had a discussion with the Indonesian Drug User Network. The challenges faced are far more complex than access to HIV and Hepatitis services. In the field, rights violations still occur, for example, when a person presumed to be a drug user/dealer was arrested, that person will be beaten by an angry crowd, without even having a proper trial.
At the same time, access to mental health services is also needed.
