SINCE WHEN HEPATITIS C TEST AND DRUGS ARE PROVIDED FREE BY THE INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT?

The Ministry of Health through the Directorate of P2PML, Directorate General of P2P has gradually expanded access to hepatitis C testing and therapy services with Direct Acting Antiviral (DAA) since May 2017.

IN WHICH HOSPITALS ARE THE TEST AND DRUG AVAILABLE?

WHAT TESTS COVERED FOR FREE?

The tests covered by the Government program are the Hepatitis C antibody test and the HCV viral load test.

WHAT MEDICINE IS PROVIDED FREE BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR HEPATITIS C PATIENTS?

The drugs provided free by the Government for Hepatitis C patients are Direct Acting Antivirals, namely Sofosbuvir and Daclatasvir with cure rates above 95%.
